Top of the Poops: Top 7 out of 11 UK constituencies are in Wales

A website devoted to raising awareness about sewage dumping in the UK named 7 of the top 11 constituencies as Welsh.

The list, Constituencies Ranked for 2022 for the amount of sewage dumps, names Carmarthen East and Dinefwr number 1, with 7,103 sewage dumps.

Wales would be forgiven for thinking it’s having an unfair amount of poo to deal with.

Opposition to the decline of Welsh rivers hasn’t gone unnoticed, with a growing public demand for cleaner rivers, water companies are under increasing pressure to invest in infrastructure, that some campaigners argue has been chronically under funded since privatisation.
